"LIFE PLAY" © focuses on absorbing yourself entirely in the now to create a new kind of experiential. Most experiential exercises ask the person to imagine a given set of circumstances, and those are very valuable exercises. But in "Life Play", we want people to get on their feet and actually experience something. In that experience buttons are pushed. Limits are stretched. Dangerous ground it covered. It is taking place for real in the moment. The experience is felt both in the imagination and in a physical reality. Unlike a guided experiential that only takes place in your mind, in "Life Play" you voluntarily put yourself "up there" physically and allow yourself to be seen going through the experience. It's really a "hands-on" and very present moment experience. It's liberating. And it's really really fun.

"Life Play" is an experience for those watching as much as for the person on the spot. You can't help but to identify with the person going through the experience because you already went through it, or you know you will be up there shortly going through it yourself. All the false bravado and illusions about who you are that have served to keep you insulated from real experience, become impotent as you face the moment head on. Judgments come and go, and those judgments reveal something about you to yourself. You see your level of disconnect from the pure spirit you are at your very core. You have the opportunity to re-connect to that spirit in the moment and experience the thrill and freedom of non-judgment.

A lot of buttons get pushed, and you expose a lot of yourself to yourself. The moment gets heightened because the stakes are higher. You can't retreat to that little corner of your mind that has served you so well in one of your imaginary experiential exercises. Your illusions about "what you would do if" are suddenly put to the test, and there is no escaping the results.

And the beauty of it is that everyone is going through the same experience; feeling vulnerable and having fun all at the same time. We experience the unity of life and purpose. There is no threat despite what our ego's would have us believe. We discover freedom in surrendering to the moment and gliding along with the now. We realize that we can handle anything in the moment, and that the only thing that has ever stopped us is our own warped sense of limitation. Everyone is rooting for everyone else to succeed. There is no enemy here, no threat to hide from except those that are self imposed. We are all on the same level. We are all exposed and loving it.
